1. What is Zendesk Plus?
Zendesk Plus is a Chrome browser extension that enhances the Zendesk Support agent interface. It adds productivity tools including a close-all-tabs button, starred ticket bookmarks, personal notes, a recently-viewed-tickets list, an undo-send window for outgoing replies, and one-click ticket ID copying — all operating entirely within your browser.
2. Data We Collect
We collect no data whatsoever. Zendesk Plus does not collect:
- Personally identifiable information (name, email, etc.)
- Zendesk ticket content or customer data
- Browsing history or activity
- Cookies or tracking identifiers
- Usage analytics or crash reports
3. Local Data Storage
Zendesk Plus stores the following data locally in your browser
using localStorage, only on your own device:
- Your starred ticket IDs, titles, and URLs
- Personal notes you write for individual tickets
- Your recently viewed ticket list
- Your Undo Send preference (enabled/disabled)
- Your UI preferences (dock position, panel mode, etc.)
This data never leaves your browser. It is not synced, not uploaded, and not accessible by anyone other than you.
4. Permissions
Zendesk Plus requests the following permissions:
- Access to
*.zendesk.com— Required to inject the Zendesk Plus interface into the Zendesk agent page. The extension only activates on Zendesk URLs and does not run on any other websites. scripting— Used to inject the extension's interface into Zendesk tabs that were already open before install or update, so features work without requiring a manual page refresh.
Zendesk Plus does not request access to your browsing history, cookies, or any
website outside of *.zendesk.com.
5. Undo Send
The Undo Send feature briefly holds outgoing ticket replies on the page before they are sent, so you have a short window to cancel them. This happens entirely within your browser — no reply content is read, stored remotely, or transmitted to any server other than Zendesk's own, and only once you confirm the send (or the hold period expires).
6. Third Parties
Zendesk Plus does not share any data with third parties. It contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, and no external network requests of any kind. All code runs locally in your browser.
7. Remote Code
Zendesk Plus does not use any remote code. All JavaScript and CSS is bundled within the extension package. No external scripts are loaded or evaluated.
8. Children's Privacy
Zendesk Plus is a professional productivity tool intended for Zendesk support agents. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
If this policy is updated, the new version will be published at this URL with a revised date. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
